As we transition From the Cross to Pentecost – exactly 50 days from Easter Sunday until Pentecost Sunday (May 23, 2010) - I am calling our church family and the saints into a season of prayer. In Acts 2:1-2, the Apostles waited patiently until they heard a sound from Heaven on the day of Pentecost. I hear the sound of VICTORY in the air.
For fifty days, beginning Easter Sunday, we will entreat the Father, bombard Heaven and prepare to move into a season of victory in our lives. Let’s spend this time seeking God and laying our petitions before Him and agreeing together in prayer for victory.
I know that many in this season have been weighed down—heavy with the burdens and cares of this life. But our God will give you the grace to deal with whatever life brings your way. It’s time to pray! This 50 Days of Prayer is for you. It’s for your family, it’s for your friends and it’s for your co-workers. Invite them to share in this time with you. Let’s agree in 50 days of POWERFUL prayer as we come together on one accord.
It’s time for a breakthrough and I firmly believe that miracles are about to break forth for you. I believe God will come in and destroy the enemy that was trying to destroy you.
